Open Source Compliance
SolidSeco uses certain third-party open-source libraries licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL v2.1 and v3.0).
LGPL Libraries
Under the terms of the LGPL, you are granted the right to modify specific libraries (such as PySide6 and pythonocc-core) and reverse engineer the SolidSeco application solely for the purpose of debugging those modifications.
Library Swapping
SolidSeco is packaged in a way that exposes its dynamic libraries, making it straightforward to swap them out. You can find the complete step-by-step instructions in the SWAPPING_GUIDE.md file included with your software installation.
Requests for source code of LGPL libraries
If you need the exact source code corresponding to the unmodified LGPL binaries bundled with SolidSeco, you can request it via e-mail at [email protected]. Please include 'SolidSeco Source Request' in the subject line.
